In its strike notice published on 9 January, the regional union of Tataouine explained that the strike was decided after Sodeps refused to accept the appointments validated by the Tunisian Company of Oil Activities (Etap), in accordance with the organization chart approved by the board of directors.
The strike was also decided because of the blocking of the 2022 exploitation projects and the agreement with a health insurance.
