In a statement issued on 6 December, the Federation also denounced the silence of the government, which still refuses to regulate the professional situation of these contractual journalists.
It is worth noting that 13 journalists in charge of communication in several ministries organised a protest at the Kasbah Square to call for their permanent recruitment, especially since some of them have been in service for more than 5 years.
The Federation, part of the General Union of Labour (UGTT), called for the entry into force of an agreement between the trade union centre and the government in 2019, on the regularisation of the situation of several communication officers, and announced that the sit-in will be maintained until their demands are met.
