The ministry proposed to reclassify the teachers from category A3 to category A2 at the end of a training cycle that should take place by the end of November 2022. It has also committed itself to the tenure of all contractual teachers at the same time and in accordance with government decree 228 of 2018.
As for the replacement teachers not covered by the agreement, both the ministry and the federation have agreed to recruit them at the grade of trainee primary teacher, subject to a maximum of two years’ training.
