Calling for the payment of their salaries, the teachers said that 35% of their remuneration for the 2020/2021 school year has not been paid.
They called on the government to speed up the approval of the 2022 budget so that their salaries are paid and for the parliament to request the approval of a contract for this category of teachers for the school year 2021/2022.
It is worth noting that contractual teachers represent 90% of teachers in vocational and technical education. Their contracts stipulate that they cannot receive their salaries until about a year after the start of the school year.
