Mauritania: Primary and secondary education syndicate end their strike

The coalition of 12 syndicates that organised the strike issued a statement denouncing the lack of response to the teachers’ legitimate demands.

The coalition reiterated its call for the launching of serious collective negotiations on the demands of the syndicates involved in this movement. These demands aim to improve the material and moral situation of teachers, in addition to revising the shortcomings of the educational system.
