\A recent survey of the Iraqi workforce showed that one in four workers is active in construction or agriculture, the sectors most exposed to rising temperatures.
The coordinator recalled that the ILO is committed to supporting its partners in the development of occupational safety and health measures aimed at modernizing existing systems and improving conditions for workers and their employers in risky sectors.
