Yemen: The syndicate of journalists calls for the release of kidnapped journalists and cancellation of death sentences against others

The Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate held the Houthi militia responsible for these repressive practices and their impact on the lives of kidnapped journalists.

The organisation called on all bodies concerned with freedom of opinion and expression, including the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Arab and Middle Eastern Journalists Association (AMEJA), to contribute to the efforts to free all journalists and to help provide a safe environment for journalistic work in Yemen.
