The German newspaper pointed out that this increase has a strong social aspect, as the social groups of migrants are particularly varied, ranging from the unemployed to graduates, managers, doctors and engineers.
The author of the article, entitled “All young people want to leave,” stated that “this is a collective immigration that also affects the wealthy social classes. They all want to live in Europe.”
It is worth noting that more than one hundred thousand Tunisians, specialised in health, engineering and technology, have left the country over the past five years. Several experts say that immigration of Tunisians, whether regular or not, will increase again over the next three years.
