The ages of the migrants ranged between 6 and 41 years. They admitted that they sailed from the coasts of the Ghar El Melh region, during the night between 16 and 17 June, in order to cross the maritime borders towards the Italian coast.
The National Defence stated that they were taken to the commercial port of Bizerte, where they were handed over to the National Guard at the place to complete the legal procedures.
