Mauritania: Formation of the first syndicate of actors

The head of the Actors Syndicate stated that the Syndicate includes 500 workers in theatre, cinema, and drama, and that “the Syndicate’s goal is to protect artists from marginalization” and to denounce neglecting artists in theatre, cinema, and drama, and to defend their material and moral rights.
