The Committee of Contractual Teachers strongly condemned the prosecution of the teachers and called for a strike “to denounce the trials,” announcing a boycott of all school activities.
It is worth noting that contractual teachers, who are calling to be integrated into the civil service, are subject to a special status different from that of teachers who come under the Ministry of National Education. The government, for its part, considers that the protests of these teachers are not justified since negotiations with them are still ongoing.
