In a press release, the union explained that these employees were dismissed during the pandemic which had a great impact on airlines. The trade union stated that it defended the interests of these employees throughout the negotiation process and that an agreement was eventually reached providing for the reintegration of these employees “under a paid training agreement with all social benefits, to be converted into a permanent contract, in six months.”
It is worth noting that the Moroccan government allocated 6 billion Moroccan dirhams to save Royal Air Maroc, which was impacted by the global health crisis.
