The boat was carrying 60 migrants on a secret migration attempt for Europe and was intercepted by a military cruiser (a warship) on April 22.
Some survivors and families of the missing have accused the military cruiser of causing the sinking of the boat.
A Lebanese judicial source confirmed to written media that a large number of people are now being investigated, including the soldiers who were on board the military cruiser.
