This decision, announced on 8 April, was taken after a meeting organized by the governor of Beja between the secretary general of the regional labor union, representatives of the Federation’s subsidiary and the basic union of the company.
It is worth noting that the workers of the Sugar Company organized a protest on 31 March to call for the payment of their salaries and social contributions.
