On December 8, workers of Nolam Tunisie company, specializing in electrical industries, went on strike called by the trade union of the industrial zone in El-Mughira, Ben Arous. The workers protest to demand a “shower” grant for workers exposed to dirt and improve their working conditions.
The strike has been decided after the administration’s failure to listen to the workers’ demands and negotiate them.
It is worth noting that the trade union is led by six syndicates. The workers have been not only denied their previously mentioned demands, but also witnessed a tense working environment in the company.
