The Yemen Company for Investment in Oil & Minerals (YICOM) syndicate denounced the company’s decision to deduct from the workers’ salaries and considered it illegal. The syndicate said that what the company’s administration did is illegal and a violation of the law and the constitution.
The syndicate denounced the company’s indifference to its letters, stressing that protecting the workers’ salaries is their priority.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, the syndicate stated: “we invite the Prime Minister and the Oil Minister to intervene urgently, address the violations that harmed both the workers and company alike, put an end to these practices, and protect the workers’ rights and purchasing power.”
