On November 16, Khadijattou Mamadou Diallo, the secretary-general of the Union of Mauritanian Workers (UTM), stated that education is “the backbone of national unity and the most important guarantee for a bright future for our youth and our country.”
At the beginning of the consultation session, the secretary general stressed that the necessary measures should be taken in order to achieve reforms. She, also, hopes that the consultation sessions results could meet the expectations of Mauritanians and contribute to the development of the sector.
