Tunisia: One percent levy on salaries to cope with the deficit of social funds

The Minister of Social Affairs announced on 9 September that the 1% levy on salaries will be maintained to cope with the deficit of social funds.

The minister explained that this levy has helped to improve the situation of social funds and that retirement pensions have been paid normally for almost 4 years.
