Three Kuwaitis were arrested this week for bringing in 400 foreigners of different nationalities in the country’s largest ever human trafficking operation.
The suspects provided visas to the migrants, using the signature of a Kuwaiti woman living abroad, and promised to house them in five hotels that did not actually exist.
Some of the migrants also reported paying 1,500 dinars to arrive to Kuwait.
The Immigration Investigation Department is still investigating to find other suspects.
