Morocco: Spain is preparing to receive 12.000 seasonal Moroccan workers

The local authorities in Huelva, Spain announced the need to receive more than 12.000 Moroccan workers for the red fruits harvest season.

Manuela Parayo, delegate of the local government of Huelva, told press sources that the first groups of Moroccan workers will arrive starting from next December. The other groups will arrive in February and March upon the return of the first group to Morocco.

The Spanish official added that the procedures for this year will be announced later especially concerning PCR tests, vaccination, and providing a safe passage for workers.
