On August 24 and 25, a symposium aiming to enhance the capabilities of Palestinian trade unionists in the field of social dialogue was held in Amman.
Presentations of the first day were on the economic and social situation in Palestine, including discussions on the legislative and structural grounds for social dialogue in Palestine. Another presentation dealt with the experience of the program in its first phase, which included the social partners in Morocco, Tunisia, and Jordan. The last presentation revolved around the methodology of the second phase that will include other countries like Algeria, Palestine and Lebanon.
