The constituent body of the Syndicate of Governmental Hospital Workers in Lebanon called on the board of directors of Hrawi Governmental Hospital to cancel its lawsuit against the employees.
The syndicate denounced the accusations that the employees closed down the hospital. The protestors held a peaceful sit-in to demand the cost of living grant, due to the poor financial and economic conditions of all public hospital employees.
In a statement issued on August 10, the syndicate demanded justice to the employees, especially after the hospital administration promised to offer the increase and the presence of the necessary financial coverage for them.
The syndicate expressed its support to all Hrawi Governmental Hospital employees.
