Workers at LORD International company stated that the administration cancelled its decision of dismissing several of workers and has instead returned them to work.
After weeks of tension and protests during which several workers were charged with inciting a strike, they celebrated by posting the administration’s decision in their social media accounts.
Hundreds of LORD International workers went on strike on 26 July to protest against the administration’s refusal to respond to their demands including adjusting their salaries to the minimum wage (2,400 pounds) and the tenure of contractual workers.
