Morocco: SAFIEC workers refuse to receive Covid-19 vaccine

Several electronic newspapers have reported that workers at the company SAFIEC refused to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.

The workers were to receive the American vaccine Johnson & Johnson. However, they refused it saying that it could cause sudden death. This fear was triggered by the death of a young woman in Marrakech, minutes after receiving the same vaccine.

Several Moroccan internet users claim that the United States of America is trying to get rid of more than 60 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, due to a possible contamination in the laboratory in charge of its production.

This incident caused a major conflict between the director of the company SAFIEC and civil society in the Safi region.
