During this week, employees of the Benghazi cement company organized a sit-in in front of the company’s headquarters in Al-Hawari, to express their dissatisfaction with their current working conditions and to demand the payment of their salaries.
The protestors issued a statement holding the company’s administration responsible for the conditions they reached, accusing it of deliberately interrupting work during the last five years.
