On June 15, a protest was held against the decision to extend the closure of Palestine TV in Jerusalem by the Israeli occupation authorities. Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) participated in the protest. The Secretary-General of the PGFTU denounced the unjust decision. He accused the occupation authorities of trying to prevent Palestinian media from covering the current events in Jerusalem, especially the evictions taking place in Sheikh Jarrah and Batn al-Hawa neighborhoods, as well as the violence the occupation authorities exercise against Palestinians.
