Spanish NGOs have revealed that 170 Moroccan migrant workers in Spain, who are seeking to return to Morocco on humanitarian grounds, have been waiting for a decision on their repatriation for a month.
Working in strawberry farms in the province of Huelva with seasonal contracts, these workers are seeking to return to Morocco urgently for family and personal reasons.
In this regard, the agricultural association UPA Huelva has indicated that the Moroccan government decided to repatriate the workers before cancelling its decision without giving any explanation. The association expressed its concern about the situation of these workers.
