The annual report of the Saudi Central Bank stated that the monthly average wage of women working in the private sector exceeded the growth of male wages. The average wage of female employees grew by 14% during 2020, compared to a growth of 12.6% for men. The average wage for working women amounted to 4,389 riyals, compared to 3,329 riyals for men. The report added that the monthly average wage of female employees in the private sector continued to rise in 2020, for the tenth year in a row.
