In a meeting attended by the head of the Teachers Syndicate and representatives of the education trade unions, on May 27, 2021, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity pledged to include the increase in the salaries of teachers and workers in the education sector in the budget of the year 2021.
It is worth noting that the government is still waiting for the approval of the state budget by the Parliament, which has undertaken to validate the first chapter relating to salaries.
