The Union of Workers of the State Property Delegation of the Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT) issued a statement saying that the delegate of Kenitra commits abuses towards the workers that the union described as colonial and disrespectful.
The union included in its statement a set of decisions and recommendations in which the representatives of the employees announced the following:
1- We hold the delegate responsible for these illegal violations.
2- We call on the Director General of State Properties in the Central Administration, after an investigation has been opened into the subject of these attacks, to take the necessary measures and to do justice to the employees of the State Property Delegate in Kenitra.
3- We reserve our right to prosecute the state property delegate in Kenitra in the face of these transgressions, especially the verbal attacks and the psychological impacts.
4- We call upon the employees of the state property delegation to be more solidary to confront the representative of state property with his illegal and authoritarian behaviour in attacking them and trade union work, objectives, and principles.
5- In the name of all the employees of the external services of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Kenitra, we express our absolute solidarity with the employees of the State Property Commission in Kenitra, and we call on everyone to support their trade union and be ready to confront the illegal practices.
