In a meeting on the 1st of April, the secretary of the Ministry of Interior for Illegal Immigration Affairs and the Special Representative of UNICEF in Libya discussed the possibility of establishing a centre to shelter children and vulnerable immigrant groups in Misrata.
The Libyan official thanked the efforts made by UNICEF for the benefit of children and immigrant marginalized groups in Libya. He promised to ensure the completion of this project.
The UNICEF representative in Libya stressed that they look forward to cooperate with Libya.
