The National Education Syndicate decided to carry out a national general strike on April 5th stand in front of the Ministry of Education in Rabat.
The Syndicate clarified that this escalatory step comes after the Ministry refused all forms of negotiation, did not fulfil its previous obligations, and responded to the protests of the educational sector with indifference, and published irresponsible statements.
The Syndicate called on all those involved in the educational sector to engage in all forms of protest in Rabat during the holidays by protesting on March 23rd and 25th in the regional directorates and academies. The Syndicate also asked protestors to carry the red badge of protest from 23rd to 30th March in defence of the public school and the demands of the educational sector workers and employees.
