Mauritania: Some Workers of the National Enterprise of Public Works Continue their Strike

On the first of March, a number of workers from the National Enterprise of Public Works in the Touat Gas field in Adrar, continued their protest against the dismissal of 40 workers for the sixth day and four of whom entered a hunger strike.

One of the protesters stated that the company’s management had dismissed these workers on the pretext that they do not have work experience and that 38 workers from another governorate were kept.
