On February 24, 2021, members of the National Federation of Workers and Employees of local communities of the Moroccan Labour Union launched a national strike demanding getting the dues including those of retirees and widows of 2015-2020 and resolving the outstanding financial and administrative files.
On the other hand, the Moroccan Trade Union demanded vaccinating tenured employees and workers of cleaning companies against COVID-19, with a reward allocated to them for their work in the frontlines, as well as improving the conditions of the two cleaning companies in Casablanca.
