Workers and employees of the administrative facilities in Shabwa governorate started gradually protesting.
Unions representing workers and servants claimed that the latter are calling for the urgent release of wages and the payment of bonuses of previous months due to the political situation in the country. The protestors are, also, calling for the reopening of the headquarters of the General Federation and put an end to the interference in the affairs of unions.
It is worth noting that in their protest plan, employees will continue to wear red badges for two weeks and will keep a partial strike before entering into a general strike.
