Electricity workers in Sebha stopped working and announced they may escalate their protests due to the delay in disbursing their salaries for more than two years.
The Electricity Union organized a protest, where the company’s workers accused the officials of ignoring the demands that they had previously made in several statements and protests in all regions of the south.
In their statement, they declared that there is no justification for not paying the salaries. They are holding the authorities of the company responsible for not paying them and for and the consequences the strike may have on citizens.
