The Palestinian Ministry of Labour announced the distribution of the second part of the grant provided by the World Bank to about 15,000 workers impacted by COVID-19 in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The same source indicated that the second part of this aid will be paid to 61% of the daily workers and 39% of the affected poor families.
He added that the aid provided by the World Bank is for daily wage workers and disadvantaged families in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
He mentioned that about 71,000 out of 120,000 workers affected by COVID-19 have received aid.
