The Central administration of statistics of the Kuwait Labour Market Information System (LMIS) claimed that the total number of Kuwaiti women working in the private sector in various activities and sectors reached 36,975.
These rates are considered high compared to the participation of women in the private sector in the region.
16.5% of the total Kuwaiti women in the private sector work in real estate sector which is considered the second largest sector that attracts Kuwaiti women workers. 11,6% work in financial and insurance activities which ranked third.
