Following a meeting held at the headquarters of the Gafsa governorate on 19 November, the Regional Labour Union in Redeyef (south-east of the country) announced the cancellation of the general strike that was to take place this Friday to protest against the deterioration of the health situation in the city.
The Secretary-General of the Regional Labour Union in Redeyef explained that the strike was cancelled after the local authorities responded positively to some requests by committing to implement them in 15 days.
Recall that the Regional Union called for strengthening the Covid-19 hospital unit with the necessary medical and paramedical staff and equipment.
