ITUC: Urgent action needed at IMF, World Bank and G20

A few days before the meeting of G20, IMF and World Bank finance ministers, a meeting to be held on October 16, the Secretary-General of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), Sharan Burrow, called on them to take urgent action to save thousands of workers who have lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The secretary-general called for debt relief and injections of funds for job creation in health, care, infrastructure, education and climate action.
