Commenting on the death of a Leoni worker from the coronavirus, the General Director stated that the deceased died of cardiac arrest in addition to her infection with the virus. The official noted that the cause of death was confirmed by the forensic report.
During his statement, he reiterated the concern of the company to preserve the safety of all its workers by carefully respecting the health protocol and the means of prevention by continuous sterilization, temperature readings and the provision of masks to workers.He claimed that the closure of the plant for two weeks would not produce any positive results.
For the deceased, the manager indicated that she did not declare her chronic illness during her recruitment, assuring that she did not contract the virus in the workplace contrary to what is disseminated on social media.
