The national office of the National Trade Union of Road Transport Professionals, under the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT), has declared a 24-hour national strike, which can be extended, accompanied by a protest rally that will be held today in front of the headquarters of the National Society of Transport and Logistics in Hay Mohammadi, Casablanca.
In this context, the National Secretary of the Union explained, in a statement granted to the newspaper ‘Democratia Omalia’, that the general administration of the company forced the professionals of the sector to scale their movements in order to protect their professional future and to defend their legitimate rights.
The union official said that the protest movements will continue and that they will depend only on the reaction of the general administration which must release the money of the strikers that is blocked for months and respect the agreements of September 22, 2020 that address some of the ongoing issues.
