The regional health services in Ben Arous Governorate (south of the Tunisian capital) announced that the number of people infected with the new Coronavirus in the Forsia factory has increased to more than 150, confirming that investigations and tests are continuing for all factory workers and those around them among their families and all their contacts.
At the same time, the city’s regional authorities announced the launch of a campaign to tighten control over industrial establishments to verify the extent of their compliance with the preventive conditions to avoid the emergence of other epidemic foci.
It is noteworthy that Tunisia is facing a second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, during which it recorded record numbers of daily injuries, far exceeding the numbers that were recorded during the first wave.
