International: Coca-Cola Lays off 4.000 of its Workers in Many of Its Branches All over the World:

The Coca-Cola Company said in a report that it had submitted a financial compensation offer to 4.000 male and female workers in exchange for their resignation.

Australian ABC News reported that the Coca-Cola Soft Drinks Company plans to reduce its investment sectors from 17 to 9 sectors only.

This is due to the decline of the company’s shares by 13 % during the current year, due to the effects of the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, and the resulting closure of stadiums and cinemas, which affected the consumption of soft drinks, especially since these gatherings are half of the company’s sales.

The company estimated the cost of compensation for the termination of services between 350 and 550 million dollars, and the first wave of layoffs will include new contract holders and workers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
