The Egyptian Embassy in Jordan has announced the planning of flights for Egyptian workers in Jordan who wish to be repatriated.
It appears that the high number of Egyptians registered in the electronic platform launched by the Jordanian authorities for those wishing to leave the Kingdom led the Egyptian authorities to schedule evacuation trips for their citizens in Jordan.
EgyptAir and Air Cairo will provide evacuation flights from June 6 to 12, at a cost bore by all those wishing to return in full.
Experts in the Jordanian labor market said that the departure of Egyptian workers may cause an imbalance in the labor market, especially in a number of professions such as guarding and necessary daily work, and it will be difficult to compensate them due to the Jordanian aversion to these professions because of their low salaries.
Egyptian authorities view with concern the large numbers of their citizens returning to Egypt, the implications for unemployment rates and the decline in monthly financial transfers of hard currency.
