The Tunisian government palace in the Kasbah hosted a working session between a delegation from the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) led by Secretary-General Noureddine Taboubi and a ministerial delegation led by Elias Fakhfakh, the head of the Tunisian government.
The agenda dealt with several files, the most important of which is the application of the fragile employment records of civilized workers, deputies and contractors, in addition to the application file of agreements between unions and various ministries. The Tunisian General Labor Union delegation reiterated its adherence to the need to reform public institutions and establishments.
The meeting was concluded with an agreement to resume the work of the joint committee, which includes a number of trade union leaders and a number of ministers from next week to implement the agreements and define mechanisms for that.
For his part, the Tunisian Prime Minister affirmed UGTT’s role in stabilizing the social climate and in presenting perceptions and proposals that are in the public interest of the country.
