ATUC: Webinar to Discuss the Post COVID-19 Stage

The Arab Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) will be concluding a series of virtual Ramadan seminars next Thursday with a webinar on the situation of migrants during and after the COVID-19 crisis.

 

With a ratio of two seminars per week, ATUC allowed trade unionists from different Arab countries to talk about the experiences of their countries and their unions in fighting the pandemic giving room to share different visions and readings in order to prepare a reference document.

This particular document would also cover the human rights aspect related to the frequency of cases of violence against women during the pandemic period and the recorded violations against migrants.

 

Finally, a number of recommendations and trade union directives would be included to contribute to the generation of new ideas and in anticipation of the post-pandemic stage.
