Anger prevailed among the employees of the Consulting Engineers Group Company, because it forced them to donate a portion of their salaries to the foundation, after the decrease in projects it was implementing due the several precautionary decisions made by the Egyptian government to limit the spread of Coronavirus.
On their social media pages, engineers called on the Egyptian Ministry of Manpower to intervene and protect employees from this legal transgression, while respectable companies, whether Egyptian or foreign management, preferred the safety of their employees in all ways.
It is also important to note that ECG is one of the largest engineering firms in Egypt.
