Iraq: Health Workers Sanitize Public Places in Baghdad

To reduce the spread of the Corona Virus in Iraq, health workers have been deployed in Baghdad to clean up 150 public sites throughout the city as part of the government’s plan to combat this outbreak.

Press reports said that workers wore protective equipment and sprayed disinfectants on various surfaces such as fences and gas stations, to local bus stations and shops.

It is reported that Iraq confirmed 110 cases, with 10 deaths and 26 cured individuals, according to Ministry of Health figures.
