On Wednesday, Dozens of yellow taxi drivers organized a sit-in in front of the Land Transport Regulatory Commission calling to apply the law on smart application companies.
The Jordanian Labor Observatory website reported that the sit in came in protest against the lack of law enforcement measures against major smart application companies. They demanded prices regulation, to stop offers, and to put stickers on the side of smart application vehicles.
Yellow taxi drivers stressed that protests will continue if the ministry and the commission persisted in ignoring their demands.
